Adobe Reader for mobile devices

For people on the go who rely on anywhere, anytime access to documents, eBooks, and photos, Adobe® Reader® software extends the value of Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) to mobile devices. Part of Adobe's Network Publishing vision, Adobe Reader software enables you to read Adobe PDF files downloaded from a desktop computer or a server to a mobile device, freeing you to view them at any location whenever you choose. Adobe Reader software preserves the visually rich content of Adobe PDF files — styled text, images, and bookmarks — and takes advantage of Adobe PDF files created with tags to optimize viewing for small screens.

Tagged Adobe PDF
Tagged Adobe PDF files provide the best reading experience on handheld devices because the contents can be easily reflowed to fit the screen size. Results for non-tagged PDF files will vary depending on the quality and complexity of the source files. Tagged PDF documents contain more information than their non-tagged equivalents and may have larger file sizes.

Tagged Adobe PDF files can be generated from Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard, Adobe FrameMaker® 7.0, Adobe InDesign® 2.0, and Adobe PageMaker® 7.0. Acrobat 6.0 allows you to convert pages from Web sites as well as Microsoft Office documents to tagged Adobe PDF files.
