Nokia 5300 Xpress music - Disassembly

Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver













The First thing is: Run your fingernail around the edge of the front cover to release the clips which hold the cover in place














The 2nd are: You can now remove the front cover and your phone will look like below. Remove the four screws you can see















The 3rd: Once you've removed the four screws you can lift away the metal frame which sits on top of the LCD













The 4th: You can now lift the LCD from the phone. The LCD is attached by a connected which connects like a plug and socket. Simply lift it upward to unplug. You can now remove the LCD















Final: You can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
